World leaders fall short of a real agreement

What a wasted opportunity. Well, the only real agreement that has come out of the Copenhagen climate change conference 2009 is that the world is incapable of uniting on global issues of any description. Here is an issue that is not restricted to one single country, so individual needs could have been put aside. But no, that couldn't happen could it ! Each delegate took it's greedy needs to the conference and expected others to fall into line with their own demands. It was a pathetic display of non global cooperation.

So the Copenhagen climate change conference 2009 has left but one conclusion - that it is now impossible to expect within the forseeable future that a world wide issue can be dealt with by world leaders for the benefit of the world.

What a pathetic species we are - this human race. We are all so "gened up" to fight and defend for our own survival, that it is against our very nature to look after our species as a whole. So, we have a long way to go before we can call ourselves civilised.
