Eco-unfriendly
Activities
The
aftermath of the Copenhagen climate change conference
2009
as I write
this in May 2009 - All these eco-unfriendly activities
are entirely man-made and can be reduced. It is
good to see that the gas guzzling car manufacturers
are not selling their cars - they should have
thought about this 10 years ago instead of expecting
the glory days to go on forever. I have no sympathy
whatsoever with an industry that has accounted
for so much pollution.
There are
even now, countries like Australia that are selling
coal to countries like China, who will do nothing
to clean it up before it goes up in smoke in their
power stations - yet the supplying country can
get away with not having to declare this pollution
and carbon emmissions against their own output
!!! Do they think we are stupid ???
Now that we
are all in a global financial squeeze (brought
on entirely by the greed of banks) - we should
all rethink our expectations. This is the best
opportunity for us to "start afresh"
and not go back to the over indulgence of the
past. New eco-economies should be springing up
to replace the old outdated methods. We shall
soon see whether governments can truly govern
or not, or whether the "greed of mankind"
will once again prevail.
