This "mini-resort" is claimed to be the ideal getaway place for both tourists and locals from the main land. Access to the Lawaki Beach House Resort Fiji on Beqa is via a 60-minute boat drive from the main island. The r spacious beach house has a large kitchen, a dining area and an open lounge. TV, radio an electronic piano/organ and their small library is all available to the guests. Communication with the outside world is possible with their mobile phone.

Beqa (pronounced Mbengga) lies 7.5 km south of Navua, the closest town on Fiji’s main island of Viti Levu, separated by a 260 m deep marine passage. The entire Beqa Island covers 36 km2.

Individual pickup from Navua or Pacific Harbour (50 km west of the capital Suva) and boat transfer with our new fully featured and covered aluminum boat.

BEACH BURE: Each Fijian-style "bure" (English: house) has 2 beds, its own toilet and shower - ideal for couples or honeymooners.

DORMITORY/GUESTHOUSE: This larger "bure" has up to 6 beds, two shared toilets and showers - ideal for families, an entire group or the budget-traveler.

TENT: If you have your own tent, you can set it up on the compound.

Breakfast, light lunch and a full dinner meal are prepared for all the guests, but not à-la-carte menus.

Breakfast always includes homemade bread, butter, jam, fruits, fruit juice, tea/coffee. Lunch consists normally of a light meal while dinner is usually rather sumptuous.

All prices include three meals. If you plan to go for a boat/dive trip or an inland excursion, they can also prepare a handy lunch box.

Just a few meters from our beach, you will already find an amazing underwater world.

By only using a mask and a snorkel you can explore soft corals, hard corals and all the fauna living in it.

For the more adventurous they offer boat trips to the reef. Beqa Island is famous among divers all over the world for terrific reefs, fish and other sea creatures.

If you are into underwater photography, there are many shops in Suva and Nadi selling you semi-professional and professional underwater camera gear.

Are you a diver? There are several organisations in Fiji that offer both PADI training and dive trips around Beqa Island near the Lawaki Beach House Resort Fiji. They can make the necessary arrangements for you.

PS: It’s a good idea to bring some kind of beach sandals - some corals are quite sharp. And: no, you won’t see sharks inside the reef. However, you might encounter some dolphins on your boat trip to and from Beqa Island.
