Introduction
Maravu Resort Fiji is set in a 90-acre coconut plantation on the gentle slopes of Taveuni's north-west coast across the road from a white sand beach. Maravu offers plantation style living, a saltwater pool with waterfall, horse-back-riding, mountain biking, kayaking, snorkelling, guided 4WD adventure tours, hiking, trekking and village tours as well as 45-minute boat access to Rainbow Reef, one of the world's best soft coral diving reefs.

Accommodation

The 16 bures at Maravu Resort Fiji are spaced apart on our 90 acre resort. All Bures have air-conditioning and ceiling fans (except the Planters Bures which have ceiling fans and floor fans), fully stocked minibar and a hammock on private veranda. Maravu provides all bath amenities such as hand-crafted coconut soaps, shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer, cotton pads and bathrobes.

There are 4 Planters Bures in two Duplex Units at Maravu Resort Fiji. The rooms are completely separate with own entrance, verandah with Garden view, bathroom and just one adjoining wall. The Duplex units have an interconnecting facility, which is ideal for a family with children having their own room. The indoor furniture consists of a King-size bed and Single bed, chairs, table, closet, writing table. Distance to the private Maravu Beach is 4 - 5 walking minutes.

There are 3 Deluxe Bures at Maravu Resort Fiji with an inside and an outside shower and covered verandah with Ocean views. The indoor furniture consists of a King-size bed and a Single bed, chairs, table, closet, writing table. Distance to the private Maravu Beach is 3 - 5 walking minutes.

There are 3 Honeymoon Bures at Maravu Resort Fiji with a private stone walled courtyard with both inside and outside shower, Jacuzzi and verandah with Ocean views. The indoor furniture consists of a King-size Canopy bed, chaise-lounge, chairs, table, closet, writing table.

The 4 Honeymoon Deluxe Suites at Maravu Resort Fiji have a separate lounge and bedroom with private open-air courtyard with an outside shower, sun deck and spacious Jacuzzi Pool with waterfall and either partial Ocean views or Garden views The indoor furniture consists of a Bamboo King-size Canopy bed, chairs, table, closet, writing table. Distance to the private Maravu Beach is 4 - 5 walking minutes.

Four top of the range Oceanview Spa Villas at Maravu Resort Fiji offer separate lounge and bedroom with a private open-air courtyard offering outside shower, sun deck and heart-shaped Jacuzzi Pool with waterfall. The indoor furniture consists of a Bamboo King-size Canopy bed, chaise-lounge, chairs, table, closet, writing table. All Villas have air-conditioning and sea views. The glass doors facing the ocean can be completely opened or screened. The Villas are located along a stepped walkway about 5 minutes walk from the main resort.

Other Tours

Maravu Resort Fiji offers several guided tours and nature walks where you can explore quaint plantation towns and rainforest trails including the Vidawa Forest Walk with its spectacular bird life. Discover hidden waterfalls where you can swim in the natural water basins of Bouma and Kulanawai. Jungle trails lead to the volcano Lake Tagimaucia, while 4WD Landcruiser tours will take you up to the 1200 metres high Des Voeux Peak.

At night enjoy Fijian melodies performed by the house band over during gourmet candlelight dinners.
