The
impact of ecotourism on sustainable tourism
It can only
be sustainable if what you take out equals what
is put back in.
Sustainable
ecotourism gives details of ecotourism activities
and other sustainable ecotourism in this ecotourism

It is not
possible to keep taking what you want and expect
all things to stay the same. If 1,000's of tourists
start decending on new parts of Antarctica, then
no matter how careful they all are, some parts
of the environment will be adversely affected.
If however,
mankind puts back into play the destroyed parts
of the environment, then that tourist attraction
will remain sustainable. Impossible ? - I agree.
It can NEVER be possible to have
fully sustainable ecotourism.
No matter
what the politicians say, we are slowly destroying
the original environment.
Some would
argue that sustainable tourism only needs to mean
replacing it with something else. Some will argue
that a golf course may be a better more sustainable
environment than the desert. Some will think that
a car park will sustain a retail development and
if you get tourists to come to a new eco-attraction
with shops and a car park nearby, then it is sustainable
ecotourism !!
All these
are of course extreme examples of non existent
sustainable ecotourism - it just does not exist.
